Dear Pendleton High School Parents,
We will be giving Pass/Incomplete final grades on June 4 when the semester ends.
If students were not passing on March 12, they need to continue to work in order to earn a full credit.
If students were passing as of March 12, they need to keep working until June 4 or until they complete the course in Acellus to earn full credit.
We want students to stay engaged in meaningful learning and cover as much content as possible through the end of the semester.
If your student has barriers to participating in distance learning, contact the administration immediately.
These are some strategies for staying aware of your students’ progress:
Look at their grades in Home Access.
For Math, Science, Social Studies, and Health 1 look at their Acellus account (we emailed user names and passwords on April 8).
Email teachers or counselors.
See our PHS website for teacher contact information and information about classes.
Call the administration at 541-966-3804 for usernames and passwords and any other questions.
Information to follow about Senior Drive Through Check-Out on May 4. Grades 9-11 drive through locker pick-up on May 5.
Take care of yourself and your family. Do not hesitate to call us if you have questions or need support.
Sincerely,
Melissa Sandven, Principal

At-A-Glance Special Education Profiles Released
(Salem, Ore.) – At-A-Glance Special Education Profiles (previously Special Education Report Cards) showing special education data for Oregon school districts and Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education programs are now available on the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) website. The profiles are a federally mandated compilation of results from the 2018-2019 school year as required by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.*
The data reflect trends such as an increasing graduation rate and decreasing dropout rate. The profiles also show Oregon’s strength compared to national figures when it comes to identifying children with special needs at a very young age and providing them with appropriate and timely services.
The At-A-Glance Special Education Profiles have been redesigned to align with the At-A-Glance School and District Profiles and include graphics showing the special education figures for each district and program compared to state specified targets in 10 categories:
More information can be found on the At-A-Glance Special Education Profiles webpage.
*Note: All of the data is for the 2018-19 school year with the exception of Graduation Rates, Dropout Rates and Suspension/Expulsion which are from 2017-18.

Pendleton FFA Plant Sale
/in District Site News, News - District & All Schools /by rthornburgThank you for your interest in supporting the Pendleton FFA Chapter through our Plant Sale! While still in school the students worked hard to get these all going. This was not what we expected in the end, but we are pleased to still share our greenhouse and plants with you.
Due to the limited restrictions, the greenhouse will not be open for you to pick out your plants. I have provided this order form to help you get what you would like and support the Pendleton FFA Chapter.
Plant Sale pick-up day is May 6th from 11-1 (following social distancing protocols). Here is the Order Form link and inventory list link.
Thank you for supporting our students!
